Here is my selection of the best compact flash which I would consider to buy for a Sony a7,a9 or a6500 camera.

The flash in this post can also be used on the Sony a9 or a6500 since they share the same hot shoe. A flash can be useful in various situations, for example to get a more balanced color during daylight or as a controller for other flash lights.

In my selection I was also taking price into consideration and selected products which are affordable.

The Sony HVL-F45RM is probably the first choice if you have already a Sony camera. It can operate as a radio wireless receiver or commander beside sitting on your camera.

The flash can also be tilt from -8 to 150° and rotates left and right to 180°.

The output of the flash is 400 lux and is dust- and moisture resistant.

The only limitation is that the Flash won’t offer the focus assistant.
