Tateyama mountain – the place between the sky and the earth. There is definitely some magic in the mountains. Occupying the place between this world and the heavens, for centuries mountains have drawn our minds and imagination, inspiring religious believes and worship. And Mount Tate is a great example of that. Along with Mount Fuji and Mount Haku, it is one of Japan’s ‘three holy mountains’ and it draws a continuous stream of pilgrims up to now.
