Here comes our next interview with the Swedish Outdoor Gear manufacturer Haglöfs about their products and their company.

What are the 3 words that characterise your brand?

Outstanding Outdoor Equipment

Which products are you proud of?

We are proud of all of our products, but a few examples are our workhorses Rugged Mountain Pant and the boot Grym, but also the products that we have won design awards for such as the most likely lightest down sleeping bag in the world L.I.M Down.

What is the biggest benefit for your customers and why?

We offer high quality, functional and highly sustainable equipment that will last for a long time and will let you focus on the activity.

Where are your main customers from (country)?

We are represented in 26 markets in Europe and Asia.

Who are your major competitors?

Arcteryx, Patagonia, The North Face, Mammut for example

What are the current trends and which one is the most important for you? Three important trends are

1) sustainable gear, 2) lighter, faster and shorter adventures and 3) the running/ trail running trend. All three are very important for us but the first two are the most important ones for our brand.

What do you think of the importance of Social Media for you?

It is very important as it gives us the possibility to communicate directly with our consumers.

Do you have brand ambassadors? If yes, how do you chose them?

We have a selected group of professional athletes in various activity areas and we call them Haglöfs Friends. We have chosen them based on their activity, personality and ability to help us develop and test our products.

Can people apply for sponsorship? What do they have to do for it?

We do not have an certain application process but if someone has an interesting project to offer us then they are welcome to send us an e-mail.
